I missed the first hour of 24. I can't fucking believe this. I CHECKED Global. It was showing some other show, I swear. I thought that I would be shut out of 24, having to download it like every other year because I don't have cable. Then at nine o'clock (actually, 9:09) I flipped back to Global and what did I see? Hmph.
I'm thinking that Global switched to Fox programming at nine o'clock only. I fucking hate that station, always have.
Fox was showing the Carolina/Chicago game which ran a bit late, I guess Global only switched when 24 started, around 8h10-15.
Again, I happen to have it on tape. I was recording the football game before and kept it running in case we were interested in watching 24. Now that it is evident that we will have difficulty trying to fit in just the first four hours, we're giving up on the rest of the season. Let me know if you'd like the tape(s).
I downloaded the episodes, so I should be able to see the first hour by the time I get home. And Frank, do NOT just give up on 24! Jack wouldn't give up on you, you know. I have (or will have very soon) the episodes downloaded. I can provide them to you if you don't want to download them yourself.
