So I found out recently that I nearly died a few months ago.
My oven went kaput a few months ago. I took the advice of some guys at the local hardware store and started tinkering in the back panel. I powered off the main switch for the oven and unplugged everything as I was working. All that did was result in a short circuit. After some time, I finally got sick of using the toaster oven. I asked Rose to call a repair man and he arrived on Tuesday. He had seen what I had done, because I didn't replace everything, and because I had told Rose what to tell him. He said that there was still electricity in the oven, and that if I had touched another surface that would have been the end of me. Poor Rose would have come home to a smoking body.
I guess I'm lucky to be alive. Lesson: don't listen to a bunch of hacks from a hardware store. Listen only to the real deal.

As for that Radio.Blog thingy, I'd can it. While it's awesome that you're playing Massive Attack you forget that many blog readers already have music going in the background, whether it be on the computer, from the radio/CD player or an iPod-like device. Just something to think about.
