From Martine, translated:
My nephew, Alexis, 6 years old:
"I've found proof that Santa Claus exists."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yes. he must exist because if he didn't, that would mean that my parents are telling me lies."
Busté. I wonder how he will react to the rest of the Big Lies They Tell You. Let's make a brief and definitely incomplete list:

evolution. apparently, a lot of people in the U.S. think that evolution is a lie. it's all about creationism, baby!
"Women are just as capable as men in anything.
Men are just as capable as women in anything."
How are those lies? In general, yes, women and men are equally capable.
Also, money isn't everything. It's perception.
It's more a matter of what people say versus what they willingly do. For example, a guy might say that he is capable of keeping the house clean and raising the kids, but will he? Or a woman will say that she can kill bugs and change lightbulbs, but does she? Both should be possible, but yet for some reason, probably related to inertia/laziness, people seem to stick to the rights and avoid the responsibilities.
