Out of Body Experience

I just had an out of body experience.

Actually, I was in a meeting to learn about the American mortgage industry, and how it all works. I was sincerely interested, as it does relate to my job right now. But I have a problem that whenever there is a meeting with more than, say, four people in it, I just can't stay awake. I try so hard to stay awake, but eventually, you'll see me shaking myself awake, recoiling as if from a terrible stink.

But the out of body experience was not an experience as such. I wasn't floating above watching everything below. I wasn't feeling at peace, happy. It was me feeling light-headed, and then it was if my mind disappeared. I wasn't there anymore. I wasn't anywhere. It's like going under general anaesthesia; you're there and aware, and the very next thing you know it's three hours later and you're stoned.

Part 2 of this training is on Thursday. I am going to ask a couple of coworkers to see what I look like when I am going under. I would like to know just what I look like when I am "not there". I do know that when I am battling sleep my eyes roll up into the back of my head. and when I come back it doesn't quite feel like sleep per se.

I feel like having a nap.

I hope that your boss isn't in on these meetings!! I can't read cheeseorgy at work because of the name of the home page (something about sluts or something...?). Anyway, I can't drive for a year (please see my archives) because my license was suspended in January and I have to be seizure-free for one year before I can get it back. I only went on the medication on Feb. 1 so I'll try to get it back next Feb (if I stay seizure-free, that is).
