Jackson is not going to the Grammy's now. CBS is facing millions of dollars in fines. The Grammy's are going to be on a five-minute delay. CBS is considering suing Jackson. Why? Is it REALLY that big a problem? Would it have been better if Christina Aguilera were to strut around in crotchless hotpants? Or if some other singer were to wear pasties and a thong? I'm just not getting this.
ER was going to air an elderly woman's breast for about five seconds. She was supposed to get some kind of treatment. Not anymore.
Look, I know that different people have different tastes. Maybe she should have been scolded. But people are going nuclear. I am surprised that her records aren't being thrown out of stores. Maybe they will be. The most that should have happened was that people would say: "What a sad way to self-promote. Nice stunt, nice tits." And then move on. In fact, I think most people are like that. They really don't give a shit. But it's the few nutsos out there causing all this shitstorm to occur.
I wonder what would happen if they were to have a dance number that simulated Americans getting killed in a needless war. She'd likely be lambasted for performing this at "an inappropriate time". As though it is fully appropriate to do it for real.
